Episode 81: Blogfunding ASK

Today I have something to ASK of you. Please donate $5, $25, or $250 (or more!) for my podcast program.

Here is Why. Help me help you! I started my podcast in January 2016. I believe in the need for innovative leaders and business owners to get well-written content, enriching audio, connections, and inspiration from their peers through weekly mentoring conversations. You can listen any time from any device. Sweet!

Podcast guests are not paid. And they aren’t paying me. I pick them because I like what they are doing and feel they are making an impressionable impact on our world. More than anything, I feel they are doing something you could benefit from hearing about and learn from.

A little over 1½ years, and 85 episodes later, I feel we are on to something incredible. Mike Kabeya and I work well as a team. There is a need and an audience that has grown 10x since we began. Or 1,000% growth between 2016 and 2017 (with 5-months to go!).

The quick hard numbers are this: 36,925 hits from people browsing the web per month on average; 23,095 visitors who stay on the site read for up to 30-minutes; 162,067 pages (278 different pages) of content and 2,000 listeners tune in on average each week. Three percent of the visitors stay to read and listen over an hour. The largest audience is from the United States, Australia, and Canada.

These numbers do not include iTunes and Stitcher listeners and my social media colleagues and friends on LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, and Instagram. Imagine adding those numbers!

Here is my ASK. Please take action today, contribute $5, $25, or $250 (or more!).

With the 1,000% growth, I need to improve website security ($5 ASK); add storage so you can listen to any podcast in our vault ($25 ASK); and we need to keep improving our programming for you ($250 ASK). Thus far, I have been funding this podcast program through WeMentor, inc., and will continue to do so.

Click on DONATE NOW! and follow the directions.

We’re grateful you have joined us and more importantly, are gaining some benefits. Keep letting me know what you need and want to learn. I will report the results of this Blogfunding ASK in a future podcast! (Instead of crowdfunding, I made up my own word. Just go with it!)

Our 100th show will air on November 20th, 2017.
Look for a celebratory invite in October!

Mentoring Tips

  • Study your website traffic numbers not just from the Dashboard stats and plugins. Go to the Control Panel (c-panel) and dig deeper into the back end of your company website, the metrics on the AW stats pages. Ask for technical support from your host provider.
  • Listen to Mickey Mikeworth’s podcast mentoring conversation. Solving life problems using numbers. Solving Problems With Numbers Podcast
