Episode 189: Is Rise and Grind the Mantra at which you start your day?

How many mornings do you wake up and begin the mantra, time to rise and grind? Business ownership can feel like that. Frankly, those we employ can feel that way too. The treadmill effect. We are driven. Driven by passion and a pursuit to better our lives and those of others. DOWNLOAD

Knowing this, I mentor clients in taking time to integrate what they have learned and shift something. You know, take a few minutes for reflection. Talk through the challenges in front of you, and examine lingering constraints. After a meaningful and strategic conversation, a resurgence of energy tends to bubble up and a new plan of action surfaces that feels better, more doable, less burdensome. Is that the time to begin to rise and grind again? Find out Dr. Israel Sokeye’s (Sho-kay-yeah) philosophy of how he runs Plymouth Psych Group.

He is so impressive. He discovered a niche through shortcomings of most neurotypical programs. His holistic approach and a stellar Intensive Outpatient program for teenagers diagnosed as mild on the autism spectrum, and their families is getting rave reviews. This feedback has spurred energies toward an expansion of services for this underprivileged population.

“If you lack social skills by no fault of your own, it is a huge disadvantage in life,” says Dr. Sokeye. The intense need to fill a marketplace void is real and so is taking care of yourself in the process, asserting self-leadership. A critical component to business success and life fulfillment.
