Episode 242: It Is Time To Explore Multiple Profit Centers

Labor Day, a day to ponder multiple profit centers with pioneer, Barbara Winter. Barbara coined the phrase, Multiple Profit Centers in her book, Making A Living Without A Job. A concept I have used since I learned it from her in 1996. It could be the missing ingredient to your longterm success.

Barbara discovered the idea through a conversation with a friend about the practical side of income-generating. What if you could make room for other activities either connected with your venture or in several ventures that brought in extra income? “For creative self-bossers with diverse interests, it is more interesting to create more than one source of revenue,” says Barbara. We talk about seasonal businesses as one example of developing multiple revenue streams. DOWNLOAD

We discuss the ins and outs of implementing multiple profit centers like what I needed to consider before launching a WeMeditate With Nancy LAB. Barbara talks about her creations to inspire self-employment and educating entrepreneurs under one company umbrella. You will want to learn about the Option Jar and how to use it.

Barbara has an extraordinary example of how the Law of Attraction came into fruition with her next book publisher. She is writing about becoming an idea detective, being a Sherlock Holmes in our businesses, if you will. Find out the other activities she is up to. It could inspire some ideas for you and your business.
