Episode 111: Sacred Healer and Pillow Manufacturer

Nancy Lindgren talks about her Complimentary Healing Arts business and how she created a pillow for her best friend after breast cancer surgery. Her friend’s response: “Finally, I can sleep through the night.” This led to her third venture, Moon Light Pillows manufacturing company.

Where are her pillows sold? Who sews the pillows? Find out the unlikely source who sews them. What does Nancy do to each pillow before it is shipped? What is her next plan?

Another aspect to Nancy’s spiritual healing practice, and her childhood dream, is Ministry. She became an Ordained Minister in 1996. She creates beautiful ceremonies for weddings, funerals and memorials, baptisms and baby blessings. Her courage and commitment to do this work emerges through her philos

ophical, grounded, soft spoken style, and gentle nature.

During the podcast, I share a quote from Marianne Williamson. Nancy adds her insights. Click to Download

Marianne Williamson is an American spiritual teacher, author (12 books), and lecturer, and created a self-study program in spiritual psychotherapy, A Course in Miracles that crisscrossed the country in the 1980s. A Return to Love and A Woman’s Worth were two of four bestselling books she wrote.

In A Return to Love, Marianne writes, “Although we may not realize it, most of us are violent people—not necessarily physically, but emotionally. We have been brought up in a world that does not put love first, and where love is absent. Where love is absent fear sets in. Fear is to love as darkness is to light. It’s a terrible absence of what we need in order to survive. It’s a place we go where all hell breaks loose.

When infants aren’t held, they can become autistic or even die. It’s universally accepted that children need love, but at what age are people supposed to stop needing it? We never do. We need love in order to live happily, as much as we need oxygen in order to live at all.” (p. 23)

While Google searching for Marianne’s resources, this message popped up on her Twitter feed: “The ability to rest, to reflect, to think things through is a particularly important power now. New information is coming through that doesn’t fit with our normal mental habit patterns. Moving too fast slows down your progress.” Take the time to hear what you need internally.

Nancy Lindgren’s advice: If you need help, ask. Don’t be afraid to put yourself out there. Keep grounded and stay present by using all of your senses. Sacred wounds become our wisdom. Heal your wounds.
