Conscious Attentive Leadership Mentoring
After listening, do the following three C.A.L.M. Activities:
- Take this risk: Donate and watch the “Great Solstice Conjunction” tonight.
- Apply Self-Compassion: A Metta Meditation. Meditation for happy people.
Find a comfy position to go inward. Breathe gently while you close your eyes. Breathe out any tension in your shoulders. Release any tension between your brows. Observe your chest rising and falling. Lengthen your exhale by a count of one. Inhale with ease. Notice how you are supported by what you are sitting on. Continue breathing for a few more minutes.
- Bring to mind your loved ones. As you breathe out, send them thoughts of loving-kindness. Keep breathing a few more inhales and exhales.
- Bring to mind your neighbors. As you breathe out, send them thoughts of loving-kindness. Keep breathing a few more inhales and exhales.
- Bring to mind your fellow citizens in town/city. As you breathe out, send them thoughts of loving-kindness. Keep breathing a few more inhales and exhales.
- Bring to mind your fellow state citizens. As you breathe out, send them thoughts of loving-kindness. Keep breathing a few more inhales and exhales.
- Bring to mind our nation of citizens. As you breathe out, send them thoughts of loving-kindness. Keep breathing a few more inhales and exhales.
- Bring to mind all the children in the world. As you breathe out, send them thoughts of loving-kindness. Keep breathing a few more inhales and exhales.
- Bring to mind all the people in the world. As you breathe out, send them thoughts of loving-kindness. Keep breathing a few more inhales and exhales.
- Bring to mind all living beings in the world. As you breathe out, send them thoughts of loving-kindness. Keep breathing a few more inhales and exhales.
- Bring to mind all people and all living things. Have them embrace you. Feel all the loving-kindness around you and within you. Keep breathing a few more inhales and exhales.
- Bless all beings everywhere; may you accept your changing self and accept those around you. As you exhale, put your hands together in a prayer position. Gently press your thumbs to your forehead as you bow forward. May the light in me honor the light in you. Namasté.
- Welcome Appreciation: I appreciate you so much. Thank you for tuning in and committing to evolving yourself as you lead others. I am grateful we made it through the most challenging year of our lives with all the gifts and trials and tribulations. Too many losses in one year. I am grateful for a resilient spirit.
